Grand American Road Racing Association was established in 1999, bringing
stability to professional endurance road racing in America. Since then,
the Rolex Sports Car Series and Grand-Am Cup Series have established themselves
as well-run professional racing programs catering to American teams and
American fans.
The 12-race Rolex Series schedule for 2004 continues the Grand American
tradition of a steady, reliable race schedule at some of the most prestigious
race courses in North America. The Grand-Am Cup Series schedule of 10
races provides ample competition for the production-based cars that fill
the grids.
As we enter the 2005 season, expectations are higher than ever among competitors
and race fans. New teams, world class drivers and exciting new cars are
geared up to contend for what will be the most competitive championship
season in years. Grand American continues to maintain its focus and determination
with the goal of providing stability and direction that will continue
the rich history of sports car racing for years to come.
